Police arrest suspect of murdered 16-year-old boy (Video)
One of the twins who is suspected to have killed a 16-year-old JHS 3 student in Berekum last Saturday night has been arrested and detained at Sunyani Domase.
Amina Mohammed, the mother of the twins, claims that the eldest twin came to her and told her about the occurrence in Odomase, Sunyani, and that she afterward reported the son to the police.
Due to Islamic custom, the body of the deceased was buried yesterday.
Residents of the neighborhood urged law enforcement and the Berekum traditional council to crack down on most hangouts and bars in order to clean up Berekum because the majority of visitors either go there to smoke marijuana or indulge in other illegal activities.
