Pekyi: Caught thief tied to electricity pole to death (Video)
A 26-year-old man only identified as Kwame has passed away after he was beaten and tied to an electric pole at Pekyi in the Amansie West District.
Kessben FM’s Asumadu Darkwah reporting from Pekyi said that the irate mob decided to end the life of the suspected robber due to how the robbers have been tormenting the people of Pekyi new site.
To them, it will serve as a strong warning to the robbers who in the time past have been attacking people, stabbing them, and making away with items.
Market women especially those who leave home at dawn to their various markets have been victims of the robbers, some residents disclosed.
Sadly, the late thief had already passed away when the police got at the scene.
