Hon Sampson K Nimako In Opinion: Why Dr. Kwabena Duffour Should be Considered for the Kotoko Job
As Kumasi Asante Kotoko goes on a roadshow in the shop for a credible candidate for the position of Board Chairman, let me bring to the attention of all, a noble and important personality who has what it takes to revive the lost fortunes of the most successful club in Ghana (Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC)
Dr. Kwabena Duffuor; an Economist, Banker, and Investment expert who has chaired a lot of successful organizations here in Ghana and abroad comes with that experience of mobilizing resources to help Kotoko catch up with its global competitors especially those on the African continent in terms of modernized football infrastructure.
Though Dr. Duffuor might not be a football person, however, with his rich experience in administration which spans over three decades, I believe he can work with any management team that will be given the opportunity to steer the day-to-day affairs of the club (Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC)
It is my humble appeal that the King, Nana Otumfuo Osei Tutu II should look no further than within for this indigenous statesman who hails from Kumawu in the Ashanti Region to chair the new Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC Board going into the next football season.
