BREAKING: Premier League 2023/24 fixtures released, Chelsea face Liverpool on opening day
The Premier League fixtures for the 2023/24 season have been announced.
Manchester City will set out to become the first team to win the Premier League for four straight seasons, with Arsenal and Manchester United among the sides hoping to mount strong challenges.
Luton Town return to the top flight for the first time since it was called Division One, joined by the more familiar Burnley and Sheffield United.
There are new regimes in place at Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, while Liverpool will be looking to return to their formidable best after a subpar 2022/23 season.
Here are some key dates for your 2023/24 diary.

Key meetings
Following Chelsea’s showdown with Liverpool on the opening day, we get to see another new manager at a London club get to strut their stuff against a big-six outfit one week later – Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham take on Man Utd on the second weekend of the season.
On that same day, Man City will face Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium.
Shortly before the September international break, Man Utd are back in the capital to take on Arsenal, with the first north London derby of the season coming later that month.
The Gunners then welcome title rivals Man City to the Emirates Stadium at the beginning of October, again on the eve of an international break, with Mikel Arteta’s men travelling to Chelsea once the club season resumes.
The first Manchester derby of the campaign takes place on the final weekend of October, with the reverse fixture pencilled in for the first weekend of March.
Liverpool travel to Man City at the end of November before taking on rivals Man Utd at Anfield a few weeks later and hosting Arsenal in the final game before Christmas.
There are some mammoth fixtures set to be played at the back-end of the season. Arsenal make the trip to Man Utd on the penultimate weekend of the season, and it’s plausible they could be slugging it out for the title.
Tottenham could have a deciding influence on the title race even if they aren’t in it as they will take on four teams who finished in last season’s top six in their final six games.
Here are some of the key meetings across the season.
