Yaw Tog reveals inspiration behind his “Obra” Song – “I wrote it while coming out from depression” (Video)

Award-winning Ghanaian artiste Yaw Tag has disclosed that the experiences he had throughout his period of depression served as the inspiration for his most recent song, “Obra.”

The gifted artiste revealed during an interview with Mr. BoneZ on Kessben TV that he wrote the Obra song at the point when he was overcoming his depression.

Yaw Tog made a triumphant breakthrough into the Ghanaian music scene with the hit song “Sore” while he was still a student in senior in high school in Kumasi.

His progress in the music industry skyrocketed with many music lovers admiring his style of delivery on the beat earning him great international collaboration including making a song with Stormzy from the UK.

Yaw took music hiatus after senior high school when he properly staged onto the life of adulthood amid tough decision makings.

According to him at a point, life was not easy for him, especially with regard to what to do next while possessing his great talent after completing SHS.

He revealed that many calls and suggestions came to him as to what to do next leading to him to a point of confusion but eventually chose to journey on his talent and passion for music.

Yaw Tog released the Audio slide of the Obra song featuring Roili this week on all digital platforms.
