Supporting Hearts of Oak is sweeter than marriage – Hearts fans after beating Kotoko
Accra Hearts of Oak won the 2023 President’s Cup by defeating Asante Kotoko by 1-0 at Accra sports stadium last Sunday.
The Betpawa premier league game between the Phobians and the Porcupine Warriors at the Accra Sports Stadium was used to honor H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the president of the nation.
After the double victory, some Hearts of Oak fans who spoke on Kessben TV expressed their joy following the defeat they inflicted on their bitterest rivals.

Hearts of Oak won 1-0 after 90 minutes thanks to Konadu Yiadom’s lone goal in the closely contested game between the two clubs.
The win moved Accra Hearts from the 6th position on the League Table to 5th catching up with Kumasi Asante Kotoko with the same points 31, after 20 games.
