The best foreign player ever to play for Kotoko, Andy Kerms picks Ahmed Touré

Sports pundit with Kessben Media Group, (KMG) Andy Kerm has selected Ivorian international Ahmed Simba Toure as his best all-time foreign footballer to have played for Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Andy Kerm reacting to a question sent by a listener of Kessben FM on Friday regarding the best foreign import of Kotoko was quick to settle on Ahmed Toure.

The sports analyst reckons the peers of Ahmed Toure in that category do not come close to the Ivorian finisher.

Ahmed Toure became an instant hit and a toast for football lovers especially Asante Kotoko fans after he signed for Kumasi Asante in 2008 helping the Kumasi-based club achieve great success during his three spells.

Touré began his career with the Ivorian team Africa Sports National before joining Ghana’s top-tier Glo Premier League club Asante Kotoko in 2008.

Touré returned to Ghana’s top division, the Glo Premier League, in September 2011 for the 2011-12 season and between 2014 – 2016 he made his final return at Kotoko.
