Awutu Breku: Man butchers friend over roofing sheet
Nicolas Cudjoe, age 47, was detained by the Awutu Breku District Police Command for reportedly inflicting cutlass wounds on his friend.
The victim, Efo Kokuvi, 63, was attacked on Monday night in Kwashie-Amabo in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region when Nicolas broke into his room.
The assailant’s friend offered Efo two packages of roofing sheets, but Nicolas went to his house without his knowledge to get the items, according to Kessben FM reporter Mireku Nyanpong on Breaking News.
Efo approached his friend about Nicolas’ actions because he was upset by them, which sparked a contentious exchange.
In the evening, Nicolas Cudjoe infiltrated Efo’s chamber and wounded him with a cutlass.
Efo Kokuvi, the victim, has been sent urgently to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
