Alan Kyeremateng assures NPP of 80% votes in Ashanti Region to win 2024 elections
Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng is confident that as the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party in the upcoming 2024 Presidential elections, the party can bag 80% of the votes in the stronghold of the party, Ashanti Region.
The Aspiring presidential candidate is very much optimistic that if the party is able to secure 80% of votes in the Ashanti Region, it will be a done deal for the NPP in the 2024 elections.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi, the former trade minister reiterated that the NPP can only record such a win percentage in the Ashanti region by having a strong candidate to lead the party in the 2024 elections.
He reckons the palpable contest is between the party between the NDC who are doing everything to recapture power in 2024.
“The contest is not between ourselves. The real contest is against the NDC and with that, we need a strong candidate who can consolidate our stronghold with about 80% votes in the Ashanti Region” He said.
In the 2020 elections, the NPP party led by president Akuffo Addo secured 71% from the stronghold of the party Ashanti Region.
Candidate Alan has assured to further that by consolidating the NPP dominance in the region that literally wins elections for the NPP.
