GFA denies appointing Chris Hughton as new Black Stars coach
Ghana Football Association says they are still holding discussions towards appointing a new coach for Black Stars.
Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam George in a recent TV interview said the GFA has settled on Chris Hughton as the new head coach of the Black Stars.
Chris Hughton among other European coaches have applied for the Black Stars coaching job with Chris standing tall as the favorite to land the job.
The GFA notes about 1000 coaches applied for the Black Stars coaching job since Otto Addo resigned as the coach of Ghana after the World Cup.
The Football Association is set to name the new Black Stars coach in early February 2023 as the Black Stars regroup in March to kickstart the qualifiers of the 2023 AFCON.
