I regret not applying for the Black Stars Coaching job – Karim Zito

Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito has said that he’s very much disappointed not applying for the vacant Black Stars coaching job.

The Black Stars coaching job became vacant after Coach Otto Addo resigned in December 2022 following Ghana’s exit from the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Many coaches have sent in their applications to the GFA for the top job, including former Black Stars coach, Kwasi Appiah.

The FA is still holding discussions to appoint a new coach who will be named by February 2023.

“There is nothing wrong with Kwasi Appiah applying for the job. In fact, I regret not applying for the job. I deserve to be there.

I believe they are going to get us an experienced coach to handle the team. There are a lot of young, very good players in there which we need to polish to get the best of them” He said.
