Chiefs in Ahanta Municipality join residents to demonstrate over bad roads (Video)
The chiefs and the people of Ahanta Municipality in the western region of Ghana took to the street to demonstrate against bad roads in the municipality.
According to the chiefs, they have communicated multiple times to the authorities in Government but nothing has been done about their plight.
They bemoaned that Ahanta, being a farming township, the bad road network has been a bane to their work.
According to some of the residents who spoke with Kessben FM’s Ahanta Eguzie, the situation becomes worsened when it rains.
They stressed that due to the terrible state of the road network, it takes about one week for the road to be usable when it rains heavily, denying farmers to transport their produce.
