Mankessim murder: Chief and self styled-pastor remanded by Cape Coast court (Video)

The two suspects, the Tufohen of Ekumfi Akwakrom, Nana Oye and a self-styled pastor have been remanded by the police following the death and secret burial of a trainee nurse at Mankessim.

The Central Regional police command apparently arraigned the two at the Cape Coast Magistrate Court on Thursday morning for the court to remand them to make way for a further investigation into the case.

Details of how the deceased, Georgina Asor-Botchwey died are yet to be fully established.

The two pleaded guilty to burying late Georgina and were subsequently slapped by the court with 10 days of remand.

The Cape Coast court remanded them to re-appear on October 2, 2022.
