Most fans at Baba Yara stadium have been stealing the T rolls in the washrooms – Director of NSA bemoans
The Ashanti Regional Director of National Sports Authority (NSA), Emmanuel Kojo Appiah has bemoaned over the Indisciplined behaviour of some stadium attendees.
Mr Kojo speaking on Kessben TV ahead of the Kotoko CAF champions league game vs RC Kadiogo, called on the fans who will be attending the match to comport themselves.
He revealed that it takes an amount between GHC10,000 to GHC20,000 to prepare the stadium for games involving Asante Kotoko.
According to him, the stadium is fully set to host the second leg game between Kotoko and Kadiogo which is scheduled on Sunday 18th September 2022.
Kojo Appiah lamented some of the challenges they have been facing and urged fans to act correctly when they attend games at the stadium.
“One of the challenges we have which is very difficult to control is the Washrooms. When they come, they should take it as their home and help us sanitize the place.
Someone will come to free himself when he goes in, there will T.roll there and he put it in his pocket and leave with it. It’s amazing, when you say this people will be laughing but it’s the reality.
We usually put a new T.roll after almost 50 people attend the washroom but we had to stop because when you put it there, between the first 5 to 10 people someone will take it and leave” He said.
The regional director also called on club officials, players and some technical team members to do away with sprinkling concoctions on the pitch as it affects the grass.
