Kwabibirem: Mourners and well-wishers fled for their lives as man opens gunfire at funeral grounds (Video)
A 42-year-old man identified as Osei Kojo Forson has been arrested by the Akyem Kade police after he opened gunfire at a funeral.
According to some residents of Kade, Kojo Forson is mostly seen shooting in the air at most funerals but this time it caused much panic among the funeral attendants including some big chiefs.
Eyewitnesses say he had apparently warned to shoot one chief after some small misunderstanding regarding the arrangement of the chairs.
Kojo Forson eventually pulled the trigger but into the air. Many who were present including some of the chiefs had to flee for their lives.
As widely known in the area, the Kade police hounded him. He was subsequently granted bail after he was sent to the police station and arraigned before the court on Tuesday.
