The communication director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has reiterated that nothing has changed regarding the start of the Betpawa 2022-23 league this weekend.
Ashanti Gold SC apparently filed an interlocutory injunction to halt the official start of the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League season but the GFA says the league will still start despite Ashgold’s legal move.
Henry Asante Twum speaking with Kessben TV on Friday stressed that nothing has been altered with arrangements to kick off the season.
He noted that it is only the Kotoko game which has been postponed due to the CAF champions league game they will play with FC Kadiogo.
“There is nothing, the matches are coming on this weekend. Until the last 2 weeks, we knew we were going to play 9 games this weekend but unfortunately due to CAF’s arrangement for the Kotoko game we had to postpone that game and we are now going to play 8 games this weekend. Nothing has changed. He said.
