Kurt Okraku deserves to be given 4 more years to do more – Franko Naro (Video)
Sports Journalist, Frank Owusu Ansah aka Franko Naro has lauded the Kurt Okraku-led football administration and reckons the former executive chairman of Dreams FC deserves another term in office as the president of the Ghana Football Association.
Franko Naro reacting to a question asked on Kessben FM’s Midfield Action on Friday told Joe Laka that the Kurt administration is in a cruising state to merit another term in office.
The experienced sports analyst admitted that though there are some flaws associated with the local game, the Kurt-led administration has done relatively well after taking the reigns from the point where football had been grounded.
“Today if you ask me if we are going vote, Kurt will win. They have organised two leagues and the upcoming league will be their third league.
Let’s accept the fact that football went dead in this country after number 12. They came from somewhere and I have seen so much improvement.
If you look at the sponsorships they have signed, yes I have issues with how some of the monies are going to be disbursed but all in all they have really done well by securing that, with all the negativity they are able to sell our football.
For me, they have their downside but hey, they can only improve as we go forward. If you ask me if they should be given another term, I will say yes. Kurt deserves to be given another 4 years to do more for the people” Naro concluded.
