2022 Atopa Festival: Thousands of men & women gather to enjoy themselves by twerking (Video)
Thousands of people across the nation gathered themselves to join the Chiefs and elders of Gomoa Fetteh to mark the much anticipated Atopa Festival which is held annually.
The quite odd but interesting festival is celebrated in recognition of how their greatest Ancestors saved them from Slavery.
In a video sighted by Kessben TV, it could be seen as the women were busily shaking their buttocks for the men.
According to the people of Gomoa, during the olden days, the women used to welcome their greatest ancestors with the dance which is known as Akosua Lontopa by twerking to the warlords.
This year’s celebration was marked with much fun compared to recent due to the COVID-19 restrictions in the past.
