Akufo-Addo’s Gov’t has built more roads than any Government in the history of Ghana – Sam Pyne
The Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Samuel Pyne has underscored that no government in the history of Ghana has achieved President Akufo-Addo’s feat on road construction.
Reacting to claims by the opposition National Democratic Congress, (NDC) over how the ruling Government has neglected Ashanti of road infrastructure, Sam Pyne stressed that the assertion is unfactual.
Speaking on Kessben TV’s Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi, Sam Pyne said the NDC is only trying to score cheap political points from the recent happenings over roads in the region.
“It is impossible for any Government to complete all roads in the Ashanti Region within 4 years. The NDC people who are saying that we have not done anything in the Ashanti region, they got their second highest votes from the Ashanti region, what did they do for the Ashanti Region in terms of infrastructure? The Akufo Addo Government has constructed more roads than any government in the history of this country.
The NPP is doing most in the Ashanti region and it is not even limited to only roads but cuts across with Water, Electricity, and others. Since I came to the office we have built 10 mechanized boreholes for communities who were deprived of good water” He said.
