Ghana league clubs will get $25,000 each from the $6m BetPawa Sponsorship package – George Amoako
Executive committee member of the Ghana Football Association, George Amoako has revealed that each club will get $25,000 yearly in the $6 million BetPawa Sponsorship package of 3 years.
George speaking on Kessben TV with Joe Laka explained that the sponsor will invest 2 million annually for three seasons.
According to him, the clubs will share $700,000 while $300,000 will be used by the sponsor to build pitches at Prampram.
The other $ 1 million will be used for publicity through radio, TV advertisements, promotions and activations, he noted.
“There’s no ambiguity about it. the GFA, the Clubs and the referees are getting $700,000 which we all agreed on before the announcement.
$300,000 will be used for legacy project by Betpawa at Prampram. The other $1 million will also be used by BetPawa for promotions, activations for the Ghana premier league” – Vice Chairman of GFA executive committee, George Amoako said on Kessben TV.
