Extention of SIM card re-registration to January 2023 imminent – MoMo agents

Mobilemoney agents in Ghana have called on the Ghana government to extend the deadline for SIM cards registration to January 2023.

In a statement, the agents said the mobile money business will be negatively affected if the government does not extend the date for the registration as many MOMO subscribers have still not registered their SIM cards due to the delays in acquiring their Ghana cards from NIA.
