Top 6: Our Senior team won’t be available so we will play with our youth team – Kotoko tells GHALCA
Kumasi Asante Kotoko has communicated to the organizers of the GHALCA top about the unavailability of their first team squad during the scheduled period of the GHALCA Top 6, Kessben Sports has learned.
The Kumasi-based football says they will be honouring the tournament with their junior team as they have already consented to feature in the Top 6 competition.
The Kumasi-based football club noted that between the 14th to 31st of August when the tournament is scheduled, their first team squad will be out of the country for a pre-season.
The GHALCA organized a competition returns to the Ghana football calendar after so many years.
The tournament has always been a 4-club tournament but had to be changed to a 6-club tournament this year to accommodate Accra Hearts of Oak who finished 6th in the 2021-22 Ghana premier league season.
