GFA throws away Ashantigold’s appeal
The Ghana Football Association has dismissed the appeal of Ashantigold Football club after they were found guilty of match-fixing.
AshGold and Inter Allies were demoted to the division Two league at the end of the 2021/22 football season after they were found guilty of match manipulation in their 2020/21 Ghana Premier League match day 34 game.
Both clubs were also fined 100,000 Ghana Cedis each.
The two clubs apparently appealed the verdict of the GFA’s disciplinary committee but the appeals committee of the FA has squashed their appeal.
