Sports Pundit and video analyst, Peter Newton Lartey has pointed out that Kumasi Asante Kotoko defenders have a common difficulty with pace.
According to the Kessben TV’s sports journalist, the team is always found wanting when the ball is placed behind the defenders during play.
Newton expounded that the club’s workaholic left fullback, Imoro Ibrahim who is very good in offensive play does not get anyone to cover up for him due to a lack of pacy defenders in the set-up.
He noted in such moments recovery becomes very difficult for the Kumasi-based football club emphasizing that the flaw led to Asante Kotoko conceding more in the ended season.
He urged the technical team of the club to work on shortfall as the club prepares to represent Ghana in the CAF champions league.
