NDC sponsored the Arise Ghana demo with GHC 8 million – Owusu Bempah (Video)
Convener of fixing the country movement, Ernest Owusu Bempah has facetiously stated that the Opposition National Democratic Party (NDC) sponsored the Arise Ghana Demonstration with GHC8 million.
The pressure group, Arise Ghana on Tuesday, 28th June 2022 hit the streets to express its displeasure on what they described as worsening economic conditions in the country.
According to Owusu Bempah, NDC is behind the demonstration which he is reliably informed that they have pumped in millions of Ghana cedis to just paint the sitting Government black.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Nyakoh Abronomah, Owusu Bempah said that there is no serious hardship in Ghana to have motivated the group to embark on such a demonstration.
He stressed that due to the global economic hardship which has even affected countries like America, Italy, and others, Akufo Addo should be commended for holding up things quite well in Ghana.
According to him, in some parts of America, some people cannot afford a 3 square meal due to the global economic hardship.
“Go to America and see, there are some people who cannot afford a 3 meal square a day due to the global economic hardship.
Akufo Addo has done very well here managing things, people just want to take advantage of the global hardship and use that to score political points.
NDC are the organizers of the demonstration, they have spent GHC8 million on the demonstration. They are doing that for their selfish gains”
