NPP 2022 Internal Elections: Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi Files To Contest National Chairmanship Position
Yesterday, June 15th at 4:05pm Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi(Known to many as NKABOM Chairman), NPP National Chairman Hopeful, filled his nomination forms at the party’s headquarters.
He was accompanied by his Regional Chairman- Mr. Ibrahim Bukari Baba (alias Chairman IB) and his Regional Executives, Constituency Executives from all the eleven constituencies in Bono East, Bono regional secretary – Kofi Boateng, Ahafo Regional 1st vice chairman Justice Appiah Antwi, some Members of the Party’s Council of Elders, Regional and constituency Executives from other regions in the country, Government Appointees, Electoral Area and Polling Station Executives across the country, TESCON members, party faithfuls, teaming grassroots supporters, members of his campaign team and well wishers to submit his nomination forms to enable him contest the upcoming NPP National elections.
He was nominated by the Transport Minister and Member of the Central Regional Council of Elder – Hon. Kwaku Ofori Asiamah and seconded by constituency executives and party members.
He afterwards met with the media to put forth his vision to contest the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party which boarded on three thematic areas:- UNITY, DISCIPLINE and COMMITMENT.
Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi will continue his campaign tour in Greater Accra on Friday and across the various constituencies and regions.
The campaign which is to restore hope to the party people is on course and we believe with God we are winning this election.
Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi used the opportunity to thank all who came out in their numbers to support as he submitted his forms to contest the national Chairmanship of the New Patriotic Party.
