Kotoko management has done well but they need to do more to get the fans to the stadium – Opoku Nti
Former Chief Executive officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Samuel Opoku Nti has commended the management of the club for supervising the team to win the 2021-22 Ghana premier league.
Opoku Nti wants the management of the club to do more despite having a successful season on the pitch.
Speaking on Kessben TV, Samuel Opoku Nti pointed out that the management of the club should come up with strategies to get the fans of the club to their home games.
“The management of the club has done very well, I’m not in management so I can be able to tell actual challenges they are having but they need to do more to get the supporters of the club to the stadium. In fact, they need to draw a strategy to get the supporters to the stadium” Opoku Nti said.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko performed creditably well on the pitch to win the 2021-22 Ghana premier league but stadium attendance at the Baba Yara stadium was not forthcoming.
In the coronation match against Elmina Sharks last Sunday, though much publicity was made about the game, the management of the club had to open the gates for free five minutes to the start of the game to get the numbers at the stadium.
