Accra Flood: One dies at Tiptoe lane as hundreds of properties destroyed (Video)

Monday’s downpours in the nation’s capital virtually left nothing at Tiptoe lane in Accra as one person died following the heavy downpour.

Parts of Accra and other urban areas in the Greater Accra Region were flooded on Monday following hours of torrential rainfall.

The situation had to compel residents in the affected areas to evacuate their homes to seek shelter at places they found much safer.

At Tiptoe lane near Circle, the water went into shops of people resulting in destroying many items worth thousands of Ghana Cedis.

Kessben FM’s reporter Grace Baba Sam reporting from Tiptoe lane after the heavy downpour said one person was found dead after he was drown in the flood.
