I will be a Unifier and A Reconciliation Leader for Northern Region-Alhaji Amadu Inusah Dagomba Boy
The Northern region NPP is set to elect their regional Executives for the next four years which is scheduled for Friday 27th May, 2022.
Alhaji Amadu Inusah who is contesting for the regional chairmanship launched his manifesto dubbed Rescue Mission in Tamale.
He said when voted into office he will be a unifier and a reconciliation leader and a father for all.
Since the year 2017 when the party came into government till date, there have been several instances of open confrontations, boiling disagreements and hot exchanges between and among party followers across the region.
Again, the recent restructuring processes through internal elections have occasioned some serious rancor and petty rivalry between contenders and and Supporters.
He added that, One of the first initiatives he will put in place is leadership embarking on a reunification drive through dialogue and consensus building.
Alhaji Amadu Inusah, promise to build a permanent regional party office.
Historically, the New Patriotic Party is the only party in Contemporary times that has its umbilical cord tied with the people of Northern Ghana (Northern peoples Party in the early 1950’s).
Yet the NPP has no permanent office building to serve as a northern regional office for the party.
In his statement, Alhaji Amadu Inusah led regional leadership shall take steps to mobilize the needed resources to acquire permanent land in the name of the party.
This will then pave way for the construction of an ultramodern office complex with the requisite office architecture at a prime location in tamale to serve as the northern regional headquarters of the New Patriotic Party.
In addition, there are complains of abandoned projects in the many parts of the Region.
He will make sure to supervise all abandoned projects which will be put in good use.
Alhaji Amadu Inusah, further stated in his Manifesto of the following plans for the region; Research Project for 2024 elections, All Encompassing and accessible leadership, Party and Government, Accommodation for party officials in tamale, Rotational Quarterly conferences for various wings, Communication, Northern Ghana Pilgrims Affairs Board and many others.
Background in Politics
Alhaji Amadu Inusah started his political career with Polling station executive, moved to Constituency Treasurer, headed the Yendi Constituency as a Chairman for two term and elevated to the contest for Regional Chairmanship for Northern Region.
