Former Accra Hearts of Oak forward, Prince Tagoe has commended Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Frank Mbella after his impressive first season performance with Asante Kotoko.
The Cameroonian Asante Kotoko forward currently leads the Goal scorers chart with 19 goals after matchday 28 in the Ghana premier league.
Former Goal King of the Ghana Premier league with Accra Hearts in 2005-2006, Prince Tagoe says Mbella’s impressive first season performance ought to be commended.
Prince Tagoe however speaking on Kessben TV was quick to add that it is too early as is been only a season for the young striker in the Ghana premier league.
In 2005, the prince of goals as affectionately used to be referred to bagged 18 goals to win the Goal King with Accra Hearts of Oak in the then 16 team league.
The Ghana Premier League is currently an 18 team league, This new format commenced in 2019.
