‘If we capture 30% of Zongo votes, NDC can’t come to power again’ – Awal Mohammed

Member of the ruling New Patriotic Party’s communication team, Awal Mohammed has opined that the opposition NDC cannot win a presidential election in Ghana again if the NPP secures 30% of votes from Zongo communities in Ghana.

The former public relations officer of the Youth Employment Agency says if the NPP gets into the threshold of 30% of votes from the Zongo, the NDC should forget about winning presidential elections in Ghana.

Awal, who is contesting for the national NASARA coordinator for the New Patriotic Party speaking on Kessben TV’s Maakye said with his vast experience in coordinating professional duties in Zongo communities, he will work to make the NPP reclaim the lost Zongo appeal for the NPP.

According to him, the NPP party have always had a good alliance with the people in Zongo Communities but conceded that over the years their numbers from the Zongos have dropped.
