A/R: Man banned from community after stealing bunches of plantain (Video)
A resident of Asante Akyem South in the Ashanti Region has been banished from the community he lives after stealing bunches of plantain on a farm.
According to Kessben FM’s reporter Multi Pee, the man who has been identified as Dramani after stealing the plantain went for “Aboboya’ to park the plantain when he was caught.
He was on course to sell the bunches of plantain while he was caught by the farm owner.
Multi Pee speaking on Kessben FM Breaking News said the day Dramani went to the farm to steal the plantain which was Tuesday is day barred to go the farm but Dramani flouted that and went ahead to steal the bunches of the plantain.
When he was eventually caught by the farm owner while he was packing the plantain into an ‘Aboboya’ Dramani pleaded guilty and asked for forgiveness from the farm owner.
The farm owner could not just forgive him because the day was a day not meant for anyone to go to a farm but per their traditions of the land. He, therefore, had to face the consequences of his act.
