Man who lost his job due to illness commits suicide after his wife packed out and left him (Video)
A 56-year-old man in Saltpond had to resort to suicide after his wife packed out and left him following an illness he suffered.
Kessben FM’s Reporter Benjamin Amazu in Saltpond reported on Kessben Breaking News that the elderly man suffered some strange illness in his eyes which led him to lose his job.
According to Benjamin Amuzu, the 56-year-old man was a fisherman who after suffering from eye problems could no longer attend to the fishing job and as a result, brought a financial burden on him.
A few days after his situation, his wife who lived with him and had 3 children packed out and left him.
The sister of the 56-year-old man then took responsibility to look after her brother. According to her sister, prior to hanging himself with a rope, she had given him money to buy Gari and eat.
