Adieyie Assembly member supports best performing BECE Students
The Assembly member for the Teberebie electoral area, Hon Manasseh Addison Sackey has donated Mattresses, Pillows and Chop boxes to the best performing students in his area.
“This forms part of my Plans and vision to enhance quality education within my electoral area” the gesture is a component of an annual educational support scheme i initiated two years ago, under the scheme educational items are distributed to brilliant students who gained admission into the second Cycle institutions.
He explained that the move was to motivate the beneficiaries and encourage other students to study hard and improve upon the BECE pass rate in the Teberebie electoral area, he added.
In totality, all the four best performing BECE students were drawned from the Teberebie, Abompuniso, Adieyie and Wangarakrom and M/A Basic schools and each received brand new chop boxes, Mattresses and Pillows.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries and their Parents, Mr. Ernest Yeboah Duah, Headteacher of Adieyie Basic School expressed utmost gratitude for this kind gesture and advised the beneficiaries to be serious with their studies at the senior high school. he thanked Hon Manasseh and hinted that the presentation was timely, he further appealed to the Assembly member to expand the number of beneficiaries in the coming years.
