Kotoko’s Goalkeeper over-smoked weed which caused a painful defeat against Hearts at Baba Yara Stadium – Malik Jabir (Video)

Ex-Asante Kotoko coach, Malik Jabir has recounted one of the painful defeats Asante Kotoko have suffered against its bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak at Baba Yara stadium.

Malik Jabir told Joe Laka on Midfield Action that after the painful defeat against their bitters rivals Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, he drove past his house at Asafo and ended up at the Airport roundabout.

The former coach divulged that during that time, Kotoko had a better team than Accra Hearts of Oak.

According to him, Kotoko lost the game as a result of how their goalkeeper, Sam Ampe over smoked weed before the game.

Jabir noted that he knew Sam was a smoker but warned him not to smoke before that game. Hearts beat Kotoko by a goal to nil.
