Poor stadium attendance: Kotoko resort to radio to promote home games starting with the Hearts of Oak fixture
The National Circles Council of Kumasi Asante Kotoko over the weekend met to find ways to get their teeming fans to the stadium ahead of the crucial league game encounter with Accra Hearts of Oak.
Asante Kotoko has been playing very well but unfortunately, patronage of their home games has been very awful.
Asante Kotoko recently launched a ‘come along with a person’ at the stadium challenge — to fill the stadium but it appears not to have been working as planned.
The leadership of the supporters have been creating awareness through organized float prior to kickoffs at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
One of the major things the leadership have considered after their last meeting is to resort to radio promotion which has been a traditional rudiment of the club since their heydays.
