I refused to make my stance known on the anti-LGBTQ bill because it has now taken a political twist – MOG

Ghanaian Gospel musician, MOG has explained why he distanced himself from commenting on the anti-LGBTI bill.

According to the Gospel musician, he had to restrain from commenting because the issue has now taken a political twist and he thought it would be prudent for him not to comment on the matter.

Recently, MOG Music publicly said during an interview on UTV that he did not want to take sides on issues regarding the controversial bill.

Speaking on Kessben TV’s Music Plus with Mr Bonez, MOG stressed as a staunch Christian, his stance on the much talked about LGBTQ bill is quite obvious but had to distance himself from making his stance known publicly because the issue has now taken a political twist.

“On the question about my stance on the anti-LGBTQ, I said I won’t talk about it because it has taken a political twist. It is very political now.

Looking at the Musicians who went into politics, many of their careers have taken a nose dive now. But Obviously, I’m staunch Christian and you should know my stance on this” He said.
