Ibrahim Danlad Ghana squad snub explained by Black Stars management committee chairman (Video)
The management committee chairman of the Black Stars, Mark Addo has reacted to the public outcry following the neglect of Kotoko’s Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim from the Black Stars squad to face Nigeria.
The vice president of the Ghana Football Association speaking on Midfield Action with Joe Laka on Kessben TV stated that the four keepers who selected ahead of Dan Lad were picked based on information available to the technical team.
According to him, based on the information the technical team had, Joseph Walacot, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Lawrence Ati Zigi and Richard ranked better than Danlad, reason why he was not selected.
The chairman of the Black Stars management committee stated that the young Goalkeeper should not be discouraged for not getting a call up this time. Anim Addo is hopeful the Kotoko keeper will soon be donning the Black Stars jersey with his prospects.
