The first vice-chairman of the New Patriotic Party in Ejisu, Mr. Kwaku Twumasi has called for the recently held polling station executives elections in Ejisu to be redone properly.

Speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Nyakoh Abronomah, the first-vice chairman supported the similar call of the Municipal Chief Executive of Ejisu who had also called for the election to be redone.

According to them, the whole election defeats the purpose of what the NPP party stands for therefore insists that the right things must be done.

Mr. Kwaku Twumasi noted that what happened on the day cannot be an election but a mere declaration fused with vested interests.

Meanwhile, the executives who won the elections on Wednesday hit the street to demonstrate against the call of the MCE.

It has emerged that there is a division between the Member of parliament of Ejisu Hon John Kumah who is said to be in support of the current executive and the MCE Samuel O Frimpong who is on the side of the grassroots folks.
