Concerns of pitch issues raise eyebrows for Ghana Nigeria encounter to be moved to Kumasi
The Ghana vs Nigeria Worldcup playoff game could be moved to Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Concerns have been raised over the pitch of the Cape coast stadium where the first leg of the Worldcup playoff game between Ghana and Nigeria will be played.
Ahead of the crucial game, pictures of the pitch of the Cape Coast stadium have gone viral where it seemingly appears to be in a very bad condition.
With barely 2 weeks to the game, calls have been made to shift the match venue of the game considering how bad the pitch appears.
Per the regulations of the Confederation of African Football, it is very difficult to change the match venue for now however a strong reason aligned to an issue of bad pitch can lead to a change of venue.
