The National circles’ chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Christopher Damanaya has revealed that his outfit will soon be embarking on a door to door campaign to appeal to the club’s supporters to patronize the home games of the team.
In a recent interview with Kessben TV, the supporters’ chairman was highly disappointed at the turnout of supporters’ at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Damanya was highly worried over the situation as to why more supporters of the club have not been patronizing the home games even though the team is playing very well.
He divulged that plans are far advanced at his outfit to organize a door to door campaign to create much awareness about Kotoko games for the supporters to be thronging the Baba Yara Stadium.
The club has been doing quite well in promoting games on social media platforms but the social media appears not to be enough to get the supporters to the stadium.
A number of experienced sports journalists have suggested to the club to liaise well with the traditional media and capitalize with their platforms to accordingly promote the games.
