It’s a shame to praise the police for arresting Oliver Barker & criticize them for arresting Abronye – Security expert
Dr. Kwame Sadique Adutwum has stated that the police must be left to discharge their duties independently devoid of any interference.
The security expert says it is embarrassing to hear some politicians who praised the efforts of the police in the arrest of fix the country convener, Oliver Barker now condemning the police for the arrest of the NPP Bono regional chairman, Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye.
Kwame Baffoe on Wednesday was invited and arrested by the police after his comment about former president John Dramani Mahama claiming the ex-president intends to stage a coup against Akufo Addo.
The police charged him with the publication of false news and breach of peace. He has been arraigned for court on Thursday, 16th February 2022.
Oliver Barker who is currently in police custody for two weeks remand was arrested after he allegedly stated on radio that he will stage a coupe if the proposed E levy is passed.
Dr. Kwame Sadique speaking with Kwame Appiah Kubi on Kessben TV stressed that the double standards exhibited by some of our leaders are shameful and must be ceased.
