Abandoned Anwiankwanta – Santasi dual carriage RD turns deathtrap (Video)
The people living around Anwiankwanta and Santasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana have called on authorities to as matter of urgency get the contractor working on their road back to work.
Kofi Job who is reported to be the contractor working on the road has over the past months stopped work on the road.
According to reports, the government has not released some funds to see the progress of work, a reason why the project has been abandoned.
There are ditches along the road which have been a major cause of road accidents on the road.
Traders on the stretch have also bemoaned the collapse of their businesses due to the current state of the road.
