‘Ntoose Hemaa’ narrates the journey from Burkina to Kumasi after buying tomatoes amid the Coup (Video)

Naa Serwaa, the chairperson of the Tomatoes sellers association in Kumasi has given an intriguing account of how they journeyed back to Kumasi after they went to Burkina Faso to purchase tomatoes.

Naa Serwaa speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Akwasi Ntiamoah said they spent 3 days on the journey back to Kumasi.

According to her, immediately their tomatoes were packed in their vehicle, they were told that there has been a coup de etat.

She disclosed that when they finally departed from the village where they have been buying the tomatoes, they got to a police checkpoint and were told cannot proceed because there is a curfew.

According to her, they had to sleep in their vehicle with their tomatoes in the bush before the next day to continue the journey.
