The leader of Fixing the country movement, Hopeson Adorye has reacted to claims by Dr. Clement Apaak that in 2021, 44,000 teachers left their profession.
Dr. Clement Apaak, the former Builsa South Constituency Member of Parliament has recently said that per his checks at the Ghana Education Service, 44,000 teachers quit teaching.
According to him, these teachers left the profession due to the Government’s bad policies with regards to their condition of service.
Hopeson Adorye rebutting the claims by the former MP refuted the numbers which were presented by Dr. Apaak.
Hopeson told Kessben FM’s Breaking news that in 2021, only 295 teachers across Ghana left the teaching profession.
He said most of the teachers who left won American lotteries which informed their decision to have left.
