We’re sorry but this Black Stars team will soon give us the happiness we all want – Kurt Okraku

The Ghana Football Association Chief is hopeful the Black Stars team which has been crashed out of the ongoing AFCON will come out good in the not too long future.

Kurt Okraku speaking to Joe Laka on Kessben TV after the team arrived in Ghana on Thursday morning apologized to the entire nation for the poor performance of the Black Stars at the tournament.

In a group with Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros, the four-time African cup of nations winners only got one point from three games.

Mr. Okraku noted the team could not get ample time to prepare well with the new coach, Milovan Rajevac. He insisted that it had an adverse effect on their performance but is optimistic the team will come good soon.

The Black Stars of Ghana are among the ten countries in Africa who have qualified for the games of the final playoff to the 22 Qatar Worldcup.

Algeria, Cameroon, Nigeria, DR Congo, Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, and Mali are the other nine countries. The draw will be held on 22nd January for the countries to know their opponents.
