If Kotoko does not score in the first 15-20mins, please don’t call out the players at the stadium – Osei Kwame Jnr to Kotoko fans

Former Defender of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Osei Kwame Junior has urged Asante Kotoko fans to rally behind the team throughout their second leg CAF champions league game vs RC Kadiogo on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium.

Osei Kwame Junior speaking on Kessben TV’s Extra Time Sports stressed that the presence of the supporters at the stadium is not the only thing needed from the supporters but their cheers throughout the game to ginger the playing team.

‘It is not done yet. They have to fight harder to get the qualification. Sunday’s match will be tougher than the first leg.

We all know from history that when they (Bukinabes) come here we find it very difficult to beat them.

In the first leg, we wasted a lot of chances. The coach saw all of that and I believe he will work on it. Come what may, Kotoko will win though it won’t be easy.

In the first 15-20 minutes when we have not scored, the supporters should not be discouraged. They should cheer the boys up. It will ginger, motivate and give them confidence. I will plead with them to come and support the team” Osei Kwame said.
