Let’s Begin 2022 Well With God-Resident Pastor CCC

Resident Pastor at Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Pastor Joshua Obeng has admonished residents in Kumasi to take advantage of the visit of Dr Mensa Otabil to CCC to begin the year well.

Addressing the media in Kumasi Tuesday morning, Pastor Josh said it was important for all to start the new year of 2022 well.

According to him, how you start the year will have an impact on how you end same.

This, he noted is so important that CCC decided to invite Dr Mensa Otabil, General Overseer of International Central Gospel Church for a two day spiritual empowerment program for the people of Kumasi on the 13th and 14th January at 6pm each night.

“As a church we place an important emphasis on how we start a new year and that is why we almost at every year begin with a spiritual empowerment exercise which has always been graced by the presence of Dr Mensa Otabil, a seasoned man of God who teaches timeless truths”, Pastor Josh intimated.

IMPACT OF WORD OF GOD:
Pastor Josh stressed that there was power in the word of God.

According to him, apart from shaping the minds of people to live right, the word of God also had the potential of healing the sick and providing hope to the hopeless in the society.

The CCC Pastor said those who will be grounded in the knowledge of God’s word and prayer will not miss their way in the year.

He mentioned that the sum total of the Christian life is to be engaged in the study of the word of God and to pray through and with same.

COVID-19 VACCINE:
Addressing the issue of wearing nose masks and taking the Covid-19 vaccine, the CCC Pastor said the disease was still lurking and wreaking havoc to humans.

He noted that CCC and for that matter Charismatic Churches believe that taking the Covid-19 vaccine is godly and responsible.

Pastor Josh said, ‘none of us live to ourselves and that protecting ourselves from diseases was wisdom since none would want his or her family to contract deadly diseases such as Covid-19 and others and die out of same’.

“Taking the Covid-19 vaccine is not only goldly but a sign of responsibility and the church must not stop anyone from taking the jab because we need to be alive to do the work of God and help in the soul winning efforts of Christ Jesus”, Pastor Josh posited passionately.
