Train crash in Western region leaves many dead & injured (Video)

A head-on train collision left many people dead and injured in Wassa Manso in the western region of Ghana.

According to Kessben FM/TV reporter in the western region, one the train was heading to Kojokrom with passengers whiles, the other train which was coming from Tarkwa was carrying Bauxite.

Eyewitnesses say one of the trains had apparently developed a fault thus communicated not to allow any train to take off from the other side.

The communication, unfortunately, got late as the passenger train from the other end departed with passengers numbering about 20.

Eleven people have sustained injuries and are currently being treated at the hospital while 5 people have been confirmed dead.
