The former member of parliament for Manhyia North, Hon. Owusu Amankwah wants ex-MPs of the new patriotic party to have a voting right.
Hon. Owusu Amankwah speaking on Breaking News with Nyarkoh Abronamah disclosed that they have submitted a proposal to the National Executive Council of the party for ex-MPs to have the right to vote in the delegates conference.
According to him, the former MPs are well experienced enough to be neglected in choosing leaders of the party.
He said that they may not be in any direct serving capacity but they still contribute to the party in diverse ways.
According to him, former MPs have risen through the ranks of politics and it will be good if they are made part of the people who choose leaders for the party.
